Behold Our God LIVE - Sovereign Grace (Arranged by Joshua Spacht)

Who has held the oceans in His hand?
Who has numbered every grain of sand?
Kings and nations tremble at His voice
All creation rises to rejoice
Behold our God seated on His throne
Come let us adore Him
Behold our King, nothing can compare
Come let us adore Him!
Who has given counsel to the Lord?
Who can question any of His words?
Who can teach the one who knows all things?
Who can fathom all his wondrous deeds?
Who has felt the nails upon His hands
Bearing all the guilt of sinful man?
God eternal, humbled to the grave
Jesus, Savior, risen now to reign
You will reign forever!(Let Your glory fill the earth)
You will reign forever!(Let your glory fill the earth)
You will reign forever!(Let your glory fill the earth)
You will reign forever!(Let your glory fill)

As You Go

As you go, may you know the love of Christ
How deep and long, how high and wide
As you leave, may you seek to win the prize
And find His death to be your life
May you go in the love of your Father God
May you go in the grace of Christ
May you go in the power of the Spirit now
To bring Him glory with your life
As you go, may you know the pow’r of grace
His very strength for what’s to come
As you leave, may you feel His mighty hand
Guiding your steps in the race you run
As you go, may you show His heart to bless
The ones with less, the blind and lost
As you leave, may you be the light of Christ
And show our hope is in the cross

God’s sticky notes

Do you use sticky notes to remind you of things? I’m learning to see God’s sticky notes in my life. His notes are everywhere to remind us of His presence and provision. Just the other day I was having a discussion with my wife that wasn’t going my way. I was naturally agitated. Then one of my children disobeyed me and I reacted in sinful anger. Of course, after I totally ruined everyone’s morning simply because I wasn’t getting “my way” in “my universe”, I had to humble myself before the Lord (the rightful King of His universe) and apologize to my family.

So where’s the sticky note? Where in the world is there a reminder of God’s grace to provide? Well, my sinful outburst of anger reminds me that my anger is just that – a sinful act of rebellion against God. But God, instead of giving me what I deserve, poured out His righteous anger on His perfect Son who never sinned as my substitute!

Even in the midst of my sin there are reminders of God’s grace to provide me a Savior. There are reminders that I am still a mess in need of Jesus. There are reminders that God still continues to provide sanctifying grace that I might continue to fight against my sinful, self-centered desires. Praise God! There are reminders that God is faithful to His word of promise, and that He has not left me or forsaken me.

Be encouraged brethren and look for God’s sticky notes.

God's Marvelous Forgiveness...

No child of God sins to that degree as to make himself incapable of forgiveness.

John Bunyan

Christian, when you sin, don't run from God, run to Him. He is eager to forgive.

Love one another...

What a wonderful Savior we have. It wasn’t lovely people for whose sake He died; it was for ungodly people, for His enemies. It was for law breakers that He suffered. He loved us, says (the Apostle) Paul, in spite of how unlovely we were. Just as He loved us, Paul insists we are to love one another.

Has God revealed Himself to you?

When you come to knowing God, the initiative lies on His side. If He does not show Himself, nothing you can do will enable you to find Him.

C.S. Lewis

A greater mercy...

Jesus, our peace...

He offers peace from God (Romans 1:7) to all who are the recipients of His grace. He makes peace with God (Romans 5:1) for those who surrender to Him in faith. And He brings the peace of God (Philippians 4:7) to those who walk with Him.

Christ, our Mediator...

God, apart from Christ, is an angry, offended Sovereign. Unless we behold Him in and through Christ, the Mediator, the terrors of His Majesty would overwhelm us. We dare not approach the Father except in Christ because of our sins. We first fasten our eyes upon Christ, then upon the Father. If Christ does not bear our guilt and reconcile us unto God, we perish! Before any man can think to stand before the face of God's justice or be admitted to the secret chamber of God's mercy or partake of the riches of His grace, he must look to the Mediator, Christ Jesus.
